Easter 2022 Newsletter

2022. Blink and you miss it!

Wow ! Easter is here already and our kids have done a full term of school.  As we head into these long weekends and school holidays, we would like to wish you a Happy Easter and be safe out on the roads.  For those of you whom have not had a chance to bring your families in for care for a little while, the school holidays are a great time to get the kids checked up.  I will be here for the school holidays and we also have the team on board this Saturday if you want to be checked.

Workshops to boost your health – Wednesdays 6pm-6.30pm

If you are new patient in the last 8 months due to lock down you would not have been able to attend our Wednesday workshop for New Patents and guests.  Here we explain how to get the most out of your Chiropractic care and help you build a vision for your healthcare.  Different stages of care are explained and if you want to get rid of that hump and forward head carriage, here we show and tell you how.  These are also a great opportunity for those whom might have been thinking of seeing a Chiropractor to find out more before they commence care.  Jump online here info@mtedenchiro.co.nz and let us know you are coming.  Alternatively schedule an adjustment for just before the class to save on gas!

Is my spine improving?

Great examples of improved neurological function were demonstrated in two of our practice members re-scans taken this week. These were two different people, within their first 4-6 weeks of care and smashed out the results to show it!
In the top Heart Rate Variability (HRV) scan on 03/02/2022, we can see this person was struggling to recover and adapt to stress. This is a great example of someone being physiologically stuck in sympathetic fight or flight mode. By definition, this means they are unable to tap into their parasympathetic rest/repair/recover mode. Typically this is from over-training and not allowing the nervous system enough time to recover. After 6 weeks of care on 10/04/2022, we have noticed some epic results with a better ability to recover at the gym and most of his complaints cleared up.
In the Thermography scan, we are testing the autonomic nervous system (the portion of your nervous system responsible for blood vessel, organ and gland control). The different colours indicate dilated blood vessels at the level of subluxation, telling where the irritation to that nerve root out to the autonomic system might be. After 4 weeks of care, we’ve seen a huge jump from a score of 71 to 91! You can imagine this plays a huge part in greater health and function from the inside out.

If you have not had a re-exam in the past 6 months ask our team for a an updated Spinal Scan.  Our thermography scans tell us if your autonomic nervous system is adapting well and our Heart Rate Variability Tests tell us how well you are adapting to stress.

If it’s been 7 years since your last spinal x-ray ask us to check in and see if you need an update for your case.

We hope you have safe and happy long weekends. See you all in the practice soon!
